Edil A.s.v.

Edil A.S.V was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on July 16, 1983. Since a very early age, Edil was always fascinated with fantasy related programs, stories, video games and paintings. For the surprice of many, he completed his first RPG (role playing games) when he was only 4-5 years old and developed a strange interest for video games. He was described by many as a kid with a “crazy imagination” because of the small stories he wrote and his incredible ability to be a storyteller when he was barely reaching his 7 years. Edil became a student of the S.U.A.N School in Vega Baja, the place he was raised; then made it to the Juan Quirindongo Morell High School later on. Edil was also a big fan of science, winning several first places on many competitions by creating what seemed to be a natural pesticide coming from different kinds of plants. He also was part of the BOS (Boys Scouts of America) for 2 years before graduating from high school.

At high school, Edil used most of his spare time to write short stories and novels on a notebook, and during his second high school year, he began writing an unusual story taking place in the medieval times and by using a mix of different cultures… he created what seemed to be an original fantasy work that ended up been a 40 pages story. After he was done, he continued with his life, paying no more attention to his very first finished story. After graduating high school, he made it to the UPR of Arecibo where he was admitted under Natural Sciences. Once there, he decided to continue looking at his story, adding plots, then after been inspired by several Stephen King’s books… he decided to go further with his story. After many weeks of research, Edil included more existing additions to the novel, including Greek Mythology, Biblical Stories and several other topics, making his unknown story a novel known as Destiny of Darkness: Gathering of Fates.

On June 19, 2004… Edil made it to the state of Connecticut in search of a new life and more opportunities to continue his studies. He was immediately hired by TARGET Corporation, and then later on became a Pharmacy Technician at a CVS Pharmacy, where he is currently working today. The United States was also a big change for the development of his story, after several attempts to have his novel “rated” by a professional, Edil was encouraged to continue with his work… a work that as today, consist of a five-book series. After long months and years of hard work, “Destiny of Darkness: Gathering of Fates” seems to be going in a straight line into the publishing world (details available upon request), making Edil A.S.V a published author sometime on 2006. The sequel to his first book “Destiny of Darkness: Celestial Guardian” is currently in progress. Edil A.S.V is currently living in the City of New Britain… and is a student at the University of Connecticut where he plans to finish his major in Journalism... as a way to follow a path he has already started into the Video Game Industry as a freelance journalist and editor. He also enjoys photography, traveling and the company of his friends; Of course, never forgetting his puertorrican heritage.
