Biography
Mr. Ordesky is a senior executive with over 20 years experience in leading and managing operations for companies with revenues in excess of 30 million.
In 1996 he joined current company Wexler Video, one of the leading companies renting production and post production equipment to content creators in Hollywood and around the world, after a successful career in network television producing live and tape programs for ABC, NBC and PBS. Knowledge of cutting edge technology, industry trends, and the ability to recognize client solutions has made him invaluable to Wexler’s approach to developing client/vendor partnerships.
The ability to provide up-front direction and vision to projects ranging from new uses of microwave technology or digital asset management to the most cost effective production values lead to his expertise and counsel being sought by vendors, clients, insurance representatives, broadcast executives and he is a regular speaker at event such as Digital Hollywood, Start-up LA as well as the National Association of Broadcasters convention. He has also been called up by Loyds of London, St Paul Traveler and other insurance companies to serve as an industry expert.
With over 20 years of experience in technology, rental operations/management and content production today Mr. Ordesky serves as Chief Technical Officer at Wexler Video and oversees technical purchasing, inventory management and all phases of Wexler’s Engineering. In addition to his technical responsibilities, Mr. Ordesky also handles many of the legal business affairs responsibilities for the company and has successfully worked with outside council on a wide range of legal matters to the benefit of the company.
Mr. Ordesky is also the founder of ExecTec a face to face networking group for executives in the entertainment, technology and media space. This group through its weekly dinners, now in it's fourth year, provides a space where executives can meet, discuss issues of the day, share ideas and building relationships to help them achieve their short and long term goals.
Joel is a graduate of University of Southern California, earning his Bachelors degree in Philosophy.
