Judge Jeanine Pirro is currently the host of the new courtroom television program “Judge Jeanine Pirro”. Ms. Pirro is a highly respected legal figure, author, and a former elected public official. As a legal analyst and judicial commentator she is sought after on programs such as “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet,” and various programs on FOX News. As a veteran of the legal system with years of professional experience under her belt, Jeanine Pirro’s authoritative, yet compassionate, voice can be heard daily in homes across the United States on the “Judge Jeanine Pirro” program. Jeanine has devoted her professional career to public service. In 1975, she became an Assistant District Attorney in New York’s Westchester County. As a courtroom prosecutor trying major violent felony cases, Pirro established a reputation as a highly skilled prosecutor with a 100% conviction rate. Pirro headed one of the first domestic violence units in a prosecutor’s office in the nation. In 1990, Jeanine Pirro was the first woman elected County Court Judge in the history of Westchester County. In 1993, Jeanine Pirro ran for Westchester County District Attorney and won, breaking tradition once again and becoming the first woman in Westchester County to hold such a position. The people of Westchester County in New York, a county of approximately one million people, re-elected her to that position in 1997 and 2001. In 2006, Jeanine Pirro shifted her career focus to state-level politics, gaining statewide recognition when she won the GOP candidacy for New York State Attorney General. Jeanine’s national reputation as a leader in advocating for crime victims and protecting society’s most vulnerable, make her a sought after legal analyst and judicial commentator on national news programs. Jeanine Pirro studied for her undergraduate degree at the University of Buffalo and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She attended Albany Law School of Union University, where she was on law review and received her Juris Doctor.
