An industry-leading expert in global outsourcing management, Mr. Ben Trowbridge leverages over 20 years of executive-level experience toward his current position as the Founder and CEO of Alsbridge, a global advisory firm focused on sourcing and benchmark initiatives. Ben Trowbridge demonstrates particular expertise in the area of Information Technology Outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing, earning him nominations for a number of awards in his field. Ben Trowbridge founded Alsbridge in 2002 under the name The Trowbridge Group. In 2005, Ben Trowbridge expanded his company internationally through a successful merger with ALS Consulting Ltd. in London. Since then, Alsbridge has provided leading strategic advisory services to a variety of companies across a wide spectrum of industries. Alsbridge clients include market leaders in technology, retail, transportation, energy, manufacturing, and more. Over the course of his career, Ben Trowbridge managed sourcing transactions ranging from $150 million to $2.2 billion. Prior to establishing Alsbridge, Ben Trowbridge served as Managing Partner of Ernst & Young’s Outsourcing Services Business and Chief Operating Officer of Ernst & Young’s Global Outsourcing Business. In these positions, Ben Trowbridge developed a number of effective tactics to achieve his clients’ goals, including innovative sourcing models, such as the JVsourcing™ methodology and FastSource™. During his tenure at Ernst & Young, Ben Trowbridge oversaw $4 billion in outsourcing accounts. Before joining Ernst & Young, Ben Trowbridge held several prominent positions at Electronic Data Systems, including Vice President. A former Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, Ben Trowbridge garnered various leadership skills during his time in the armed services. Ben Trowbridge was a Company Commander on four different occasions and led the Marine Corp’s first Special Operations Capable Raid Company. In addition to being a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Ben Trowbridge is a graduate of Northwestern Louisiana State University. When he is not busy with his career, Ben Trowbridge enjoys watching professional football and basketball, working out, reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
