Biography

" No good deed goes unpunished"

Dr. Ronald S. Federici has dedicated his professional career to helping children who suffer from extreme psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Dr. Federici and his team at Care For Children International, Inc., where he is both the President and CEO, work to provide comprehensive assessments and effective treatments to children all over the world, particularly those in Eastern Europe who are involved in government child welfare systems. Dr. Federici and his colleagues have built collaborative relationships with governmental organizations, as well as international charities, to create lasting, fundamental changes in flawed systems in order for children with special needs to get the help they desperately require. Dr. Ronald Federici also directs his own practice, Neuropsychological and Family Therapy Associates, in McLean, Virginia, where he assesses and treats complex developmental and neuropsychological disorders in children and adolescents, particularly those who have been adopted from foreign countries. Dr. Federici’s life-changing work has been featured in numerous media outlets. In June 2003, he was featured on Dateline NBC in an award-winning program called “Saving Dane, Saving a Family.” Dr. Federici’s belief that “no child is hopeless or untreatable” gives hope to families that have opened up their lives to adopt a child with special needs. Dr. Ronald Federici’s medical residency and fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology were completed at the National Hospital for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. Federici also worked at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, D.C. during his fellowship studies. Dr. Ronald Federici lives in Virginia with his family.
