Biography

Derek is currently employed by Ziggs, Inc. as the Director of Client Services. Ziggs is Derek's second venture into the internet start-up world. While at his first, Family Education Network, he oversaw the development and implementation of the Customer Service department, policies and team building.

In his 10 plus years in the customer relations/sales industry, Derek has proven to be innovative in customer relation policy and personnel management. He has streamlined operations and costs during his career and mentored employees on his teams.

Derek is a graduate of Boston College, earning his Bachelors degree in Communications.

Derek was born in Massachusetts and now resides in the western suburbs of Boston. He has 3 children and In his spare time Derek enjoys playing with his children, running and golf. He has completed one Boston Marathon as well as competed in sprint triathalons and hopes to compete in more as well. Derek has also been involved in fund raising activities for various organizations as well as volunteered his time to the Special Olympics.
