A recently retired business professional, Mr. Brent Rippentrop was a valuable member of Deere & Company for 30 years. Holding various executive roles throughout his professional career, Brent Rippentrop was recognized among his colleagues as a definitive business leader. With varied experience in areas such as marketing, finance, and business development, Brent Rippentrop consistently demonstrated his adaptability and willingness to take on challenges. In the latter half of his career, Brent Rippentrop facilitated the development of key factors that contributed to Deere & Company’s undisputed position at the top of its market. Most recently serving as the Vice President of Marketing for John Deere Credit, Brent Rippentrop deftly managed a 100-person staff. As a member of the senior management team at John Deere Credit, Brent Rippentrop effectively contributed to the company’s $25 billion in total assets. Brent Rippentrop’s extensive knowledge of the market and willingness to learn more about a consistently changing market led to the company’s increased finance market share against competitors. Brent Rippentrop created a direct marketing “center of excellence,” which eventually served as the core for the company’s direct marketing efforts in North America. Before taking on the role of Vice President of Marketing, Brent Rippentrop served as the Director of Market Development for Sunstate Equipment Company, a company partially owned by Deere & Company. Bringing deep business development experience to the role, Brent Rippentrop was instrumental in quadrupling revenues and expanding market coverage from three states to eight in the five years he spent with the company. Brent Rippentrop also served as Director of Rental Marketing of the Construction & Forestry Division. Managing and developing relations with some of John Deere’s largest customers, Brent Rippentrop also leveraged his experience toward developing strategies to address the expanding market. Today, Brent Rippentrop enjoys his well-deserved retirement by spending valuable time with his family. Brent Rippentrop particularly enjoys supporting his son’s efforts in competitive swimming. Mr. Brent Rippentrop currently makes his home in Iowa.
