Over the course of his successful career in the auditing and insurance industries, Mr. Brian B. Wentworth has consistently shown the ability to juggle important tasks, lead projects, and motivate his employees. Formerly employed in the role of Director of Audit, Brian Wentworth utilized all of his diverse skills in the management of all the company’s auditing functions, a role he first created and implemented in July 2001. During his tenure as Director of Audit, Brian Wentworth spearheaded several large company initiatives, including a complete reorganization of two departments, a two year long audit of a major client's operation and a complete review of a new computer system, after several errors were found. Through a combination of these initiatives, eight figure savings were realized. Prior to entering the internal audit field, Brian worked in the insurance industry, serving as a Director of Claims, where he managed a claim staff of 24 employees, Senior Auditor, Special Investigations Unit and three other senior level claims positions for various Boston area companies.
When he is not working, Brian B. Wentworth enjoys giving back to his community. A passionate supporter of substance abuse prevention, Brian Wentworth particularly enjoys working with teens and young adults. Brian Wentworth has set a goal of developing a new school course/program with professional assistance, for high school grades focused on teaching students integrity, morality, ethics, and high self-esteem in order to build the character strength necessary to stand alone and against any of today’s peer pressure situations. As a further part of this effort, he speaks regularly and continuously with patients and residents of a combination of 11 regional detox facilities, transitional programs and men's and women's halfway houses. In his talks, Brian takes a positive approach urging the patients and residents to leave their pasts behind and start fresh in setting higher goals and levels than they have ever achieved before. He reinforces the idea that they can become anyone and achieve anything they want in life and that they already have within them the natural ability to reach these levels without the need for any foreign substances that will only blunt their drive and determination to see their dreams become real. He generally receives universal positive responses, the people are participative and ask questions. Brian states that it is an experience that he greatly enjoys.
Brian B. Wentworth currently resides in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. In his spare time, Brian Wentworth is an admirer of historic architecture and enjoys touring New England’s many historical sites, as well as Revolutionary War and Civil War battlefields nationally. Brian Wentworth is also a well experienced ocean power boating enthusiast, also sail experienced and a member of the U.S. Boat Owners Association.
