Of course, when one has enough skill and patience, luck seems to become more abundant, as the case with Daniel Kimia has shown. Daniel Kimia is one of New York’s most respected and thriving real estate moguls, having been involved in that market for over 20 years.
Daniel Kimia has served as the President of Great Neck, New York-based real estate firm Whitestone Properties Inc. since 1984. During that time, Kimia has been heavily involved in the operations of the company, assuming a hands-on management style. Daniel has participated in the company’s marketing, finance, budgeting, and legal departments. His high level of interaction within Whitestone Properties has allowed him to be involved in either the new construction or the rehabilitation of thousands of residential units and commercial spaces. His professional experiences have shaped Daniel’s worldview and his management style, which in turn has resulted in increased success within the real estate market.
Mr. Kimia is a 1982 graduate of The University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. While studying at USC Marshall School of Business, Mr. Kimia majored in Accounting and was a member of the campus Accounting Society. In addition to the formal coursework for his Bachelor of Science degree from USC, Mr. Kimia has completed programs in the areas of finance, appraisal, real estate law, and property management from New York University.
In his spare time, Daniel Kimia likes to participate in activities that mean a lot to him. A committed philanthropist, Kimia is a regular donor to Habitat for Humanity, Montefiore Hospital, the Iranian American Jewish Federation, the Schneider Children Hospital and Temple Israel. Beyond charity, Mr. Kimia enjoys relaxing at home with his family.
