Biography
Since 2004, Mrs. Shawn Sotolongo has served as owner of one of Florida’s Marble Slab Creamery stores. As owner of one of the popular ice cream shop’s franchise stores, Shawn Sotolongo plays a key role in the growth and development of the business. Shawn Sotolongo’s expert leadership, coupled with the store’s outstanding customer service, led her Marble Slab Creamery to be designated as a training store. One of only a few training stores in Florida, Shawn Sotolongo’s Marble Slab Creamery in Land O’ Lakes sets the example for new franchisees with excellent management, customer service, and overall store performance. Mrs. Shawn Sotolongo is also in charge of Marble Slab Creamery’s position in the community as a leading participant in and contributor for community activities. In addition to the many school fundraisers and events with local charities that she organizes through Marble Slab Creamery, Shawn Sotolongo has also donated free ice cream to members of New Tampa’s Life Point Church as a morale booster. Outside of her business endeavors, Shawn Sotolongo is deeply involved in other charitable pursuits such as Hospice, Metropolitan Ministries, and Toys for Tots. Shawn Sotolongo has also been involved with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, an event that raises funds to fight cancer and raise cancer awareness. Prior to her ownership of the Land O’ Lakes, Florida Marble Slab Creamery, Shawn Sotolongo was a cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Storm. Shawn Sotolongo was also the head cheerleading coach for the Tampa Bay Tritons roller hockey team. In her spare time, Shawn Sotolongo enjoys dancing, going to the movies, swimming, and reading. She counts Sandra Brown, Stephanie Meyer, and Tom Clancy among her favorite authors. Mrs. Shawn Sotolongo currently resides in Land O’ Lakes, Florida.
