Biography

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing you have to do is Stop Digging.

While pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, I encountered great obstacles trying to fit in "Man's World". As a Correctional Officer with the DC Department of Corrections from 1982-1984, I was hired, sexually harassed, fired, prevailed at the EEOC level, rehired, denied promotion and "Constructively terminated". Needless to say, I was worn out. I moved on as an independent contractor with Amtrak. My experience with Amtrak was far worse than DC Department of Corrections. I traveled on the train undercover as a passenger watching the employees on board. Little did I know that they were watching me too. I was sexually harassed by three employees and almost raped by one. After completing my studies and gaining a BS degree in Criminal Justice, I vowed that I would start my own business and call my own shots. Thus, Farley's Legal Support Services was born. I love the challenges that goes along with owning and maintaining a business. I can not or will not ever return to the proliteriet community as an employee.
