• I was born in London Ontario.
• I attended Glen Cairn Public School & Saunders Secondary School.
• I am a graduate of Heritage College now located in Cambridge Ontario.
• I regularly won the public speaking competitions in school.
• I was regularly on the student councils of my schools. I was the college student council president.
• I was the class Valedictorian of my graduation classes.
• I have one sister who lives in Virginia with her family.
• I have five nieces and nephews who live in British Columbia and Virginia
• I have three amazing children, Luke, Alyssa and Michaela.
• I am married to the most incredible woman in the world. Rosanne and I have been married since 1985 and share every part of our lives together. We are best friends, business partners, minister partners and work together everyday and in every way.
• I am the co-owner of Kettle Creek Weddings a company that specializes in providing memorable, professional wedding ceremonies. Rosanne and I founded KCW in 2000 and committed ourselves to fulltime in January 2003.
• I have officiated over 1000 weddings since 2003.
• I am the co-founder of Celebrating Life Ministries, a not for profit, incorporated charity. CLM provides services for families and individuals who are in need of a professional Celebrant or Officiant for any significant life celebration.
• In 1995 Rosanne and I created CLM as a community based not for profit outreach center. We developed “Mercy Works” a cooperative that involved a food bank, a clothing exchange, weekly community dinner, as well as a dozen other exciting programs.
• The one word that describes my passion in life is the word “Builder”, I am a builder! I love to build furniture, houses, websites, businesses and most of all I love to see people built up. The opportunity to encourage and “build” up couples at weddings is a real thrill and honour.
• I have built over 70 websites.
• I have built houses and renovated dozens of properties through my construction company.
• I regularly perform 200 plus wedding ceremonies and 70 plus funerals every year. In addition to the funerals and weddings I officiate at New Life Ceremonies as well as many other significant celebrations.
• I have built KCW from Rosanne and myself to now having 0ver 50 associates across Ontario.
• I am the co-founder of Certified Celebrants Association of Canada (CCAOC) along with Rosanne.
• I am the lead facilitator and trainer for CCAOC.
• I love every kind of music, except old school country. Jazz is my favourite as I grew up playing saxophone in a jazz band.
• I sing.
• My favourite sport growing up was hockey. I played 2-3 times per week.
