Interview

An Interview with Sean Kelleher
Interview conducted on Monday, March 28, 2005

What is your favorite hobby or past time?
Sean: It’s a tie between computers and music. I've been studying both since I was in elementary school. I studied classical piano as a child and I continue to play to this day. I was voted most musical in my graduating class in high school. When I was nineteen, I began studying guitar. I’ve been studying jazz guitar/piano for several years now and I currently play guitar in a band in my spare time. On the flip side, I began writing computer programs when I was about 8 or 10. My first computer was a TI-99. I worked my way up from the Apple II to Macintosh’s through high-school. As for a career path, there was no better option for me then to focus on technology. It’s not only my career but it’s also my hobby.

If there was one person, alive or dead, that you could spend a day with, who would it be? Why?
Sean: I would have loved to meet my grandfather who passed away before I was born. He was a jazz drummer who shared the stage with many greats, such as, Tony Bennett. His values have been pasted down and instilled in his children and myself. Like my father, he was a man who had strong work ethics but always put family first. The older I get, the more I see my father in me.
