Name one person that has singlehandedly influenced you most
Roger: Barnes Walllis

Name one event that has singlehandedly influenced you most
Roger: Rolls Royce going bankrupt.
At that time it seemed inconceivable and meant rethinking all my preconceptions

If there was one person, alive or dead, that you could spend a day with, who would it be? Why?
Roger: The Dalai Lama
He has stayed sane in a mad world for so long.
|
If you had the opportunity to start your own company what would it be?
Roger: Pleased you asked that. I am currently looking to fund a software project to move database design forward. It has not changed significantly since relational databases were proposed in 1970. With modern computing power it is possible to do much better
|
If you could see yourself ten years in the future, what would you be doing?
Roger: Hopefully more of what I do now but it is tempting fate to look past the alloted three score and ten
|
Do you love what you do? Why?
Roger: There is nothing that gives quite such a good feeling as taking a company that has lost its way and putting the buzz back. Everyone becomes different when they know what they are doing at work and why they matter to their organisation. it is the same if there are four people or a thousand.
