Tracy Hellenbrand’s love for the Earth manifests itself in many ways. One is the way Tracy Hellenbrand takes special care to minimize the negative impact she has on the planet. As the proud owner of a Toyota Prius, a car that uses an electric engine for city driving while kicking in the gasoline powered engine at highway speeds, Tracy Hellenbrand is doing all that she can to minimize her carbon footprint. In fact, Tracy Hellenbrand only uses her Prius to drive long distances; she rides her bicycle to get to most places. Additionally, Tracy Hellenbrand is having solar panels installed in her home in order to make her house as “green” as possible.

An animal lover, Tracy Hellenbrand is a strict vegetarian for both health and ethical reasons. One of Tracy Hellenbrand’s favorite activities is trying new vegetarian recipes and cooking them for her friends. Tracy Hellenbrand also enjoys staying fit by engaging in pastimes that keep her active, such as running, bicycling, and hiking. Settling in the beautiful northwestern region of the United States has increased Tracy Hellenbrand’s appreciation for the wilderness and sharpened her awareness of her surroundings, and many environmental and animal organizations have benefitted from Tracy Hellenbrand’s time and energy.

An avid traveler and writer, Tracy Hellenbrand is combining her two passions by penning a travel memoir focusing on the trials and tribulations of finding vegetarian cuisine in different countries. To date, Tracy Hellenbrand has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, South America, and Europe, and she is planning a trip to Southeast Asia within the next year. Tracy Hellenbrand is currently working as a freelance graphic designer.
