“Shadow of Belief”

My own dark traces
In the day glancing longer…than shorter at me

Light casts lessons repeated over time
My memory of light, my belief in you
The universe healing you as you nurtured the universe

I do not believe in struggle
I do not believe in pain
I do not believe in empty struggle
I do not believe in fruitless pain

What is night but a larger example of you or me?

Bodies of stars create enough light to cast your shadow despite darkness
…and make you believe…

The universe inside us
Inside the presence of God

Night clouds blanket you
Your shadow rests until tomorrow

Shadows remind us of
What we have dreamed
Where we have been
What traces we leave behind
Impossible had we never believed
